I also had the neighbours round about noise a couple of times when we first moved in – the bloke even asked me to come round to his place so i could hear how loud it was… i don’t think he likes gabba

Had a top night. Can’t believe what a difference we made to that top room with a bit of decor… was a bit of a mission setting up though, and upsettingly hot! :hopeless:

Shame there weren’t more punters in the end but it was expected due to certain other things in the local area. Still, those who were there loved it – which is what counts.

I wasn’t trying to take a picture though – just trying to catch the sound of the ‘plop’ to gross out my ex misses who was on the other end of the phone. I didn’t realise and then put the phone back to my ear.

The amount of traffic that SJ has gives it a hell of a lot more depth & variety of people and topics – inevitably resulting in a lot of tripe and plenty of nonces as well as the ‘decent’ conversations that take place… but when i’m bored at work sometimes i’d rather have a laugh at some stupid pics, some ridculous arguements and some utter wrongness rather than having a boring chat about current affairs with a couple of overly PC wankers trying to be clever (PV)

Plus, half of the SJ masses actually know each other which on most days makes it the best Soap opera running – this obviously won’t appeal if you are an ad hoc visitor from PartyVibe

I think it depends what sort of ‘show’ you are talking about…

I’ve never felt inclined to talk over my set when playing at a party unless some sort of announcement needs to be made (I remember a few years ago: “would the pikies who keep setting off fireworks next to the dancefloor kindly stop it or face a right fucking battering” :lol_big: ) and reckon any sort of banter would sound well out of place.

But if you’re talking about introducing tunes on radio shows then, definately.
